Stephanie Brown joined TMJ4 News as a Specialty Reporter in October of 2022. She is grateful to host her "Steph Connects" segments and use her platform to bridge cultural divides and build community.
Stephanie is no stranger to the Milwaukee area! For seven years, she has brought her passion for storytelling to the Morning Blend as a fill in anchor and live shot reporter. Previously, she worked at a local, Milwaukee competitor and in Peoria, Illinois. Before hitting the news market, she started at a local suburban magazine style show. She received her Master's Degree in Journalism from Columbia College.
When she's not crafting stories to celebrate and inspire, Stephanie loves to motivate and mentor young people, especially her time volunteering by reading to 2nd graders. She's a fan of travel (Stephanie lived in Paris for a short time!), music, great movies, couture fashion, and local restaurants. She also loves meeting new people and taking long, long walks.
Her dream is to one day work for the United Nations in some way, shape, or form. Stephanie hopes for people to enjoy their lives and always choose happiness and positivity!!
