Kidd O'Shea

Traffic Anchor/Community Correspondent

Kidd O’Shea is the Community Correspondent and Traffic Anchor of TMJ4 News Today, helping viewers start their mornings with local stories, conversation, and a look at what’s happening around southeast Wisconsin.

Kidd started his professional broadcasting career at WKTI-FM when he was just 16 years old, in the same building where TMJ4 broadcasts today. He attended Homestead High School in Mequon and worked in Milwaukee radio until taking a job in 2015 in Washington, DC, where he spent a decade as the Entertainment and Lifestyle Reporter and co-host of Good Morning Washington.

He enjoys getting out into the community — whether that’s visiting small businesses, highlighting local events, or sharing stories about the people who make the Milwaukee area unique. From Friday fish fries to hometown festivals and neighborhood traditions, Kidd focuses on the everyday moments that connect viewers to Wisconsin.

In addition to his work at TMJ4, Kidd is also heard every afternoon on 95.7 BIG-FM, Milwaukee’s Best Variety of the ’80s and ’90s.

When he’s not on air, he’s usually checking out a new local restaurant, walking along the lakefront, or spending time with family and friends.

Kidd and his partner, Kyle, live in Milwaukee’s Third Ward and are proud dog parents to their 5-pound Chihuahua, Biggie.
