Ashley Washburn joined the TMJ4 Sports Team as a reporter in September 2023.
Prior to working in Milwaukee, Ashley spent three years at KBZK (MTN News) in Bozeman, MT. While originally hired as a Sports/News MMJ, Ashley was ultimately promoted to Sports Director and served as the sideline reporter for Montana State’s football and basketball broadcasts on ESPN+ and statewide Scripps channels.
With a passion for storytelling, Ashley was a finalist for the NSMA Montana Sports Broadcaster of the Year and received two Emmy nominations for the Northwest Chapter.
Originally from San Diego, Ashley earned a bachelor’s in journalism at San Diego State University in 2019. While studying, she interned with SDSU’s Athletic Department, the Los Angeles Chargers, NBC San Diego, and ESPN.
When she’s not watching or talking about sports, Ashley enjoys spending time with her dog Bridger, finding the best brunch spots around town, skiing in the winter, and hanging out with family & friends.
