Authorities are searching for Dariaz Higgins, who is wanted in connection with the double shooting and homicide of Sierra Robinson along with the abduction of her 2-year-old child Noelani Robinson.

Locals who live near 91st and Mill Road are hoping and praying Noelani is found safely.

"You feel bad for the child and the family that is going through this," said Larry Snarski.

Snarski was working at his auto body shop when he heard the gunfire.

"I heard like six pops in a row," said Snarski.

For Richard, who lives near where the shooting took place, he is happy to be alive. During the shooting, a stray bullet pierced into his home, grazing his shoulder.

"I didn’t know if I was injured. I just saw the blood and felt something," said Richard.

Richard was taken to the hospital and later released. He is a soon-to-be father of a girl, and his heart breaks for the family.

"It’s just very sad. I hope that the child gets returned safely to her family. I can’t imagine what’s she’s going through to lose her mother in such a way and now this," said Richard.

Higgins is believed to be driving a dark blue or black SUV. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
