More than 205,000 households to receive additional FoodShare benefits

The Department of Health Services will be giving additional FoodShare benefits to more than 205,000 households given the coronavirus public health emergency declared by the governor.

These funds will help families with food costs for October. The maximum amount of receivable aids have also been increased by the federal government.

Families who are not getting the maximum monthly amount of their family size will get the addition benefits. These extra funds will be available on QUEST cards starting Nov. 1.

If you qualify, you will receive a letter regarding this information.
