Employee at major Fond du Lac County employer tests positive for COVID-19

There are 11 cases of Coronavirus in Fon du Lac county. One of those people works at one of the largest employers in the region.

Of the 11 confirmed cases in Fond du Lac County (so far) one of them is a worker at one of the largest employers in the area - Mercury Marine.

According to a company spokesperson, the employee was at work for four hours before feeling unwell. They went home and have been on quarantine since. The other employees who work near that person were also sent home and put on quarantine.

CDC officials were in Fond du Lac assisting other health professionals with the cases.
