The Social Development Commission (SDC) is a community action agency tasked with helping, and even advocating for, Milwaukee County residents living in poverty. This year, SDC will host its annual Summit on Poverty in partnership with Wisconsin Community Action Program Association’s annual Poverty Matters! conference. The theme is: "Sharing Our Stories, Cultivating Our Solutions: Closing the Rural-Urban Divide." Joining us to share why this summit is so important are George Hinton and Abra Fortson.
