Meet National History Day Contest Finalist

Posted

National History Day engages students and teachers in historical research and skills development. Over half a million kids from across the country participate annually to compete at local, regional, state and national levels.

Local "Kid Reporter", Lilian Jochmann, has made it as a finalist! Learn all about how she made it to the top of the competition, plus she explains her project that explores the role the Supreme Court plays in the historical conflict over partisan gerrymandering.

To learn more about the contest taking place in Washington D.C. from June 10 - 14, or to follow Lilian's journey, visit National History Day online at nhd.org.
