and last updated

Parkinson Disease is a chronic and progressive disorder that affects movement in the body. It's estimated that about a million people in the United States have it. April is Parkinson Disease Awareness month, and we're joined by musician Dale Luedtke to discuss living with the disease. Jeremy Otte from the Wisconsin Parkinson Association also joins us to discuss the resources they offer and an upcoming symposium open to the public.

The Parkinson Disease Symposium from Wisconsin Parkinson Association is happening July 26 in Milwaukee. It's a free full-day program with main keynotes and breakout sessions, open to people with Parkinson's and their caregivers. For more information, call (414) 312-6990 or visit WIparkinson.org.
