MILWAUKEE -- Rising temperatures are creating issues for homeowners and business across Wisconsin on Saturday.

Juan Aldape with Emergency Fire and Water Restoration said the calls for busted pipes are non-stop.

He said his company has responded to at least seven calls of pipe-related issues.

"It has been non-stop for us...we see these issues when pipes freeze and then they thaw out," said Aldape.

Aldape said there are things homeowners and businesses can do to protect their pipes.

"Insulate your house correctly," Aldape said. "Make sure you check pipes before winter and keep on checking them throughout winter. If there is a leak, try to find the water main and shut it off. If you don’t know where it is, talk to your landlord or call the fire department or we will do it for you."

In Glendale, the fire department responded to a similar issue at the old Mongolian Bar and Grill. In Downtown Milwaukee, Ugly's has closed until February 9th. They too are experiencing water-related issues.
