The new store will be located in an old Pick N' Save at 11111 W. Greenfield Ave. The Pick N' Save closed back in 2014.
The First-Ring Industrial Redevelopment Enterprise approved $12.75 million in New Market tax credits for the project, according to the Milwaukee Business Journal.
The credit program was created to incentivize investment in low-income communities.
Festival Foods will be moving into the 73,000 square foot building and is expected to create 175 part-time positions and 75 full-time roles.
The store will be the second Festival Foods location in the Milwaukee area, with the first having opened in Hales Corners in 2019.
