The Atlanta stadium that will host the 2019 Super Bowl tweeted a gif hinting at a potential tribute for the late creator of 'Spongebob Squarepants.'

Earlier this month, fans petitioned for late show creator Stephen Hillenburg to be honored at this year's Super Bowl half-time show with a 'Sweet Victory' performance. The petition originally asked for 500,000 signatures, but since has acquired close to 940,000.

The song and halftime show performance would be a real-life depiction of an episode of the long-running cartoon where Spongebob and band friends perform the song at the Bubble Bowl, Bikini Bottom's version of the Super Bowl.

The tweet by the Mercedes Benz Stadium has gotten over 29,000 retweets and close to 84,000 likes.
