As workouts continue at Miller Park, Manager Craig Counsell disclosed that Luis Urias and Angel Perdomo tested positive for COVID-19 during the shutdown, before the players came in for workouts last week.
"You know I think Roger Caplinger's the man for the Brewers that's doing a lot of this work. And he's done a nice job of making this seamless. And, a fairly simple process right now," said Brewers Manager Craig Counsell.
For personable players like Brent Suter, the toughest thing might be the social distancing and hands off camaraderie.
TMJ4 Main Sports Anchor Lance Allan asks is the toughest thing for you just keeping your hands off your teammates, I mean is that the toughest thing for you?
"Probably," Brent Suter says laughing. "I've been doing a lot, like, kind of just air elbow bumps so far. It's going to be interesting when games start. We have a lot of guys that like to high five, like to you know, do pregame, like little hugs, pat hugs, whatever you like to call them."
On Sunday, the Bucks had to shut down their practice facility. What is the concern, if Brewers workouts can continue?
"It's in the back of everyone's minds, I would say. Certainly seeing the Bucks news yesterday, I was bummed for them. Hopefully they can recover quickly," said Brent Suter.
"So the season is not yet, it's not on my radar really. This is on my radar because it's keeping everyone healthy and safe," Counsell said.
