Another batch of Wisconsin Army National Guard members is returning home to Wisconsin after deploying abroad.
Five members of the Guard’s 1967th Contracting Team returned safely to Fort Bliss, Texas this week following an 11-month deployment to the Horn of Africa.
The soldiers will demobilize at Fort Bliss before returning to Wisconsin. They are based out of Camp Douglas, Wisconsin.
The Guard says the team mobilized last January and then deployed to Djibouti, where they worked to supply the Combined Joint Task Force Horn of Africa.
