Warming temperatures make for the perfect weekend in Milwaukee.

If you're feeling soulful, then check out the 8th Annual Milwaukee Blues Festival at the Miller High Life Theatre. Performing acts include Tucka, Sir Charles Jones, Pokey Bear, Theodis Ealey, Latimore and Terry Wright. Doors open before showtime at 8 p.m.

On a sort of similar note with music, Milwaukee Ballet is presenting "Lambarena" at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts all weekend. The show takes inspiration from Bach, ballet and African dance for a one-of-a-kind performance.

Be on the lookout for wonky traffic patterns Saturday due to the Milwaukee Marathon. If you're not running, get out on the sidelines to cheer on all the people brave enough to take on 26.2 miles on foot. The race starts at Fiserv Forum at 6:30 a.m.

This next event is for all those who frequent Etsy for home decorations and unique gifts. The Re:Craft and Relic Spring Market has 150 vendors selling handcrafted and vintage goodies such as jewelry, furniture, home decorations, clothing and more. It's going on Friday and Saturday at the Milwaukee County Sports Complex. Oh, and go hungry because Bel Air Cantina, Drift Milwaukee and The Dough Shoppe cookie dough are among the list of food vendors.

It's not technically the weekend, but definitely a reason to act like it. The South Shore Terrace officially opens Wednesday at 4 p.m. to kick off beer garden season with ... drum roll, please ... FREE BEER.
