What must-have toys do children want this holiday season? Your nieces, nephews, sons and daughters probably have been letting you know since Halloween.

What about years of Christmas past, particularly the 1990s? Do any of those toys resonate today?

All Home Connections analyzed Google Trends data to find each state’s favorite 1990s toy.

In Wisconsin, residents still would like to find an American Girl Doll under their trees this season.

Felicity, Addy and Josefina were released in the 1990s, complete with matching outfits that doll owners could wear.

Besides Wisconsin, American Girl Dolls are the most popular toys in nine other states including Connecticut and Utah.

Heelys (shoes with wheels built in) are coveted in North Dakota. Heelys account for 8 percent of patient complaints of a pediatric orthopedic department, according to a 2007 report in Pediatrics.

West Virginia loves its Barbie Dolls, but New York one-ups the Mountaineer State with the My Size Barbie Doll, in all her 38 inches of blond-haired, blue-eyed glory.
