A teen was taken to the hospital Tuesday morning after being shot while walking, Milwaukee police said.
The teen was walking on W. Lapham Boulevard just after 8:30 a.m. when shots were fired and she was hit. Police said the teen sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to an area hospital.
The circumstances that led up to the shooting are under investigation.
