MILWAUKEE — A six-time Food Network baking show competitor is creating some of the most realistic spooky cakes this Halloween.

"On Halloween Wars I made a three-foot tall clown cake," Kimberly Hall, the master baker and owner of Signature Sweets, said.

She's been on shows like Cup Cake wars and Halloween Wars, and will be on her seventh show airing on Nov. 17, but she wasn't allowed to tell us the name of it.

This year she came up with a few scary creations like this Joker and Pennywise cake.

"A lot of the things I do with cakes is just going for it you just have to teach yourself and eyeball it.”

She didn't go to school for this. Hall said she learned from watching her mom and then tinkering in the kitchen. It's surprising when you see all the detail in each of her cakes.

"The shape getting, like the correct shapes, like his hair is shaped like a specific way, so if you're able to even just the smallest things make it look exactly like the character."

She doesn't just make holiday treats though. Hall is baking realistic looking creations all year. You can find her treats at signaturesweetskim.com.
