1983 Arcade Bar announced on Facebook that it is officially opening its doors this Thursday at 4 p.m.  on Old World Third Street in downtown Milwaukee -- in the former Lucille's Piano Bar location.

In honor of their grand opening the bar said it’s offering the following deals this Thursday:

  • 20 free tokens to the first 50 customers
  • All night happy hour deals
  • $1 off all beers
  • $2 off cocktails
  • $3 specialty shots

According to their website, the bar will feature 22 Arcade Classics, 4 Pinball Machines, 1 Bubble Hockey machine and a bi-monthly rotation of games.

"Owner Michael Sampson loves attending barcades across the country and is excited to finally bring one to Milwaukee.  The inspiration for the name comes from his birth year and also is the year that Nintendo was launched in Japan," the website explains.
