BARABOO -- A bike path that stretches across the top half of the U.S. could add a route through Wisconsin.

Baraboo's City Council unanimously passed a resolution supporting the national bike route Tuesday, according to WISC-TV.

U.S. Bike Route 30 currently stretches from Maine to Montana. The proposed route would wind through Baraboo near Devil's Lake State Park.

The Bike Federation of Wisconsin is in charge of the planning, which could wrap up in the next few months.
