MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating two shootings that happened late Wednesday night.
The first shooting happened near the 2800 block North 44th Street just before 9 p.m., police said. The victim was a 16-year-old girl. Officials said her injuries are not life-threatening. She was taken to a local hospital. No arrests have been made.
The second shooting happened around 10:40 p.m. Police said that a 29-year-old Milwaukee man was shot near the 3900 block of North 26th Street during a robbery. His injuries are also non-life threatening.
No arrests have been made for either incident.
