Milwaukee woman arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence with infant in her car

At one point she was traveling at 101 mph

MILWAUKEE -- A 19-year-old woman was arrested for OWI with an infant in the car with her Sunday morning.

Elaina M. Rookard, 19, was stopped by police after she had been clocked traveling at 101 mph. Police then administered an investigation as well as a field sobriety test. It was then that police believed she was operating the vehicle under a controlled substance.

Rookard was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence with a passenger under the age of 16, possession of THC and speeding.

No other information has been released by authorities.
