Milwaukee police search for suspect involved in Saturday morning robbery

MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect who robbed an elderly victim Saturday.

Authorities said that the robbery happened in the 2000 block of W. Mitchell Street about 7:00 a.m.

Investigators said that the suspect approached an elderly victim and used physical force to steal money, according to police

Police said the suspect is described as a black male, 45 to 55 years old, approximately 5'9", and between 170 and 180 pounds. He has a medium build and a beard.

This suspect was last seen wearing a black jacket with a hood, blue jeans, and brown work boots.
