MILWAUKEE — A Milwaukee man is being charged for killing a woman during an OWI crash on New Years night.
Milwaukee police said that Eugene Scull, 45, was coming back from a "social club" around 3:00 in the morning where he had been drinking. That is when he collided with another car with two passengers in it near 35th and Congress Street. A woman sitting in the passenger seat was pronounced dead on scene and the driver was taken to the hospital for a fractured leg.
Police said Scull also admitted to smoking marijuana earlier in the night.
Security footage from a nearby home showed Scull losing control, crossing into the wrong lane, and crashing into the other car.
Scull faces four charges and up to 74 years in prison if he is convicted.
