Noelle Hetzel of Hartford dreams of going to one of the top makeup schools in the world. It's the Cinema Makeup School in Los Angeles.
The school is holding a competition called the Cinema Makeup School Next Level Cosplay Competition. The winner will receive a full scholarship to the school including a six-month paid internship.
Hetzel is the only person in Wisconsin left in the contest and one of the last contestants in the United States.
She entered the competition with a recreation of Faun from the movie Pan's Labyrinth.
"I want to make monsters for movies; it's my end goal," she said.
Graduates from the Cinema Makeup School have gone on to work for films like Iron Man 3 and Men in Black 3. That kind of education takes money.
"I used some of that savings that I've been saving up for to go and do the crash course at Cinema which was a week and a half long, and I lived in my van," she chuckled.
Hetzel says if she wins the competition, "I would pretty much have my career path set for me."
Ready to enter Hollywood, where her creations could end up in the next big blockbuster.
Voting ends at Noon Friday, May 25th and Hetzel needs to make the Top 5 to continue.
