MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee has been named a top U.S. destination for 2020, according to Forbes.
The publication released its list of the "25 Places to Visit in 2020." The destinations were chosen by travel experts and influencers.
Milwaukee was selected as a top destination by food and travel journalist Mary Bergin. The city was chosen for the list because of its "multiple personalities" that include water, beer, parties and art.
Airbnb announced in October that Milwaukee was its top trending destination for 2020. Airbnb saw a 729% increase in Milwaukee bookings for 2020 made in 2019, compared to bookings for 2019 made in 2018.
Other cities in the top 25 include New Orleans, Memphis, Orlando, Denver and Los Angeles.
