The FBI and Racine police are investigating a robbery at Wells Fargo bank located on 1700 MLK drive.

According to the FBI, they were called out to this morning to assist the Racine Police Department .

The initial investigation revealed that multiple suspects entered the bank and took an undisclosed amount of money.

According to Jose, his girlfriend was a victim in this case. He said she works at the bank and went missing with the kids Friday around 7:00 p.m. The next morning a 911 call came into the police dispatch center stating a "woman was held in a basement overnight and forced to open the bank at gunpoint.

" It’s just really hard. I’m so use to sleeping with my kids at night and last night I couldn’t hold them. It was a roller coaster of emotions," said Jose.

Police have not confirmed those details but Jose believes his girlfriend was targeted.

"Someone had to been watching her," said Jose.

He is just happy everyone is doing alright and hopes the people responsible are caught.
