MILWAUKEE -- The BMO Harris Bradley Center was on the list of possible Milwaukee sites for the second Amazon.com Inc.headquarters, according to our partners at the Milwaukee Business Journal.

Although Southeast Wisconsin is no longer in the running, last fall the city put together a list of possible sites for the new Amazon HQ2.

On the list that the Milwaukee Business Journal obtained from an open records request, the Bradley Center was just one of multiple areas within the city that were pitched to the online retailer.

In addition to the former Bucks arena, other possible sites for the development within the city were the Italian Community Center east of the Third Ward and the parking lots just north of it, as well as a majority of the western shoreline of the inner harbor.

In the Business Journal's open records request, emails from the city also revealed that the project would cost about $5 billion at full build-out and the new headquarter will employ about 50,000 people.
