MILWAUKEE — The 13th annual Anime Milwaukee has officially started at the Wisconsin Center. That means thousands of cosplayers, will come to the Cream City to show off their best outfits.
These aren't your regular Halloween costumes, attendees are creating or buying intricate and very realistic costumes representing specific characters from T.V., manga, anime, movies, and pop culture altogether.
The intricate representation can mean expensive costumes, though. TODAY'S TMJ4 reporter James Groh asked how much some people spent on their cosplay. Here is a quick list of some of the answers: $10, $80, $150, $230, $300, $500, $3,000.
That $3,000 number is actually when the man stopped keeping track of how much he spent on his cosplay.
Many cosplayers have more than one outfit too, so the price can rise dramatically.
