KENOSHA — Twenty-four people were arrested in Kenosha late Monday night, according to authorities.
Nine of them are Kenosha residents, and the remainder are from out of state, Kenosha County Jail records state.
The Kenosha Police Department and the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department arrested five people from Minneapolis/St. Paul, two from Waukegan, two from North Carolina and one each from Connecticut, California, Ohio and Washington state.
All but three were charged with a curfew violation, and several people face additional charges including carrying a concealed weapon and possessing THC, according to records.
Three other people arrested were charged with disorderly conduct and battery, bail jumping, and forgery.
Authorities did not say whether these people were protesting.
Protests have toned down significantly compared to last week, when hundreds took to the streets in Kenosha to protest the police shooting of Jacob Blake.
As of Sunday, the Kenosha Police Department arrested 175 people in connection to the unrest in Kenosha.
