MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating another hit-and-run that left a child injured on Thursday. This incident marks the third time that a child has beeninjured in a hit-and-run in nearly two weeks.
Investigators say that a 13-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street about 3:45 p.m. near N. 68th Street and Marion on Thursday. The driver fled the scene traveling northbound, authorities said.
The injured child was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are looking for a known suspect.
