The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) has canceled football, women's soccer, women's volleyball, and men's and women's cross country due to the health concerns related to the coronavirus pandemic, the conference announced Monday.

Women's tennis and women's golf will be suspended for the fall, but they will return in the spring. Those teams also can practice at their university's discretion.

The WIAC includes UW-Oshkosh, UW-Eau Claire, UW-La Crosse, UW-Platteville, UW-River Falls, UW-Stevens Point, UW-Stout, UW-Whitewater.
