SLINGER — Slinger Speedway has announced their first event since the coronavirus pandemic began.

This racing event, scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, will function at 25 percent capacity.

This short track racing event will feature local divisions, with a limited number of tickets available for purchase online here.

Fans and teams who attend the event will be required to follow health guidelines put in place by the speedway.

"As much as everybody wants to go wide open here and have at it, we're going to pull in the reins a little bit," said Slinger Super Speedway owner and promoter Todd Thelen during a Facebook Live broadcast.

The race will be held at 25 percent capacity which is 2,500 people for this event.
