MILWAUKEE — Pius XI Catholic High School announced that it was switching to 100% virtual learning due to a "limited presence of COVID-19" in the school's community.

The school decided to make the move to virtual learning for two weeks to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

In a letter sent to families on Sept. 17, Pius XI Principal Mark Ostap said there was a tentative return date of Oct. 5.

All athletic practices and games, social events and in-person meetings have been canceled.

Anyone who has been directly impacted by individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 has been notified.
