MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Continuum of Care will continue to provide shelter for those in need during the winter months, though COVID-19 procedures will be in place into next year.

Despite coronavirus concerns, the Milwaukee Continuum of Care said in a release Monday that it will do its best to shelter anyone currently experiencing street homelessness or fleeing domestic violence.

Most shelters have been operating at reduced capacity since the pandemic began, the organization says.

At the center, those in need will be assisted by community case managers in order to obtain housing.

The Milwaukee Continuum of Care is also working with the Milwaukee Health Department to provide COVID-19 support.

People in need of immediate housing services should contact Coordinated Entry by calling 2-1-1.
