The Kettle Moraine School District has released a plan draft for reopening schools in the fall.

The district shared information regarding the upcoming school year having face-to-face instruction with precautionary measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

The district will allow the choice of virtual learning at all grade levels for families who don't want to send their children to school, and those choosing face-to-face instruction will be following new hygiene and distancing rules.

According to the school district, their planning relies heavily on combined guidance from multiple local Waukesha health officials and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The final draft of the school district’s subcommittee plan will be presented on Aug. 5 with clear expectations for staff, parents, and the community. To read more about the plan, click here.
