The Wisconsin American Lung Association will host its Fight For Air Climb, presented by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, outside this year at the American Family Field on May 22.

The event is usually hosted in the stairwells of the U.S. Bank Center; however, due to the ongoing pandemic, it has shifted to an outdoor event to keep participants safe.

“Without missing a beat, we are headed outdoors, onward, and upward for our legacy Fight For Air Climb event,” said Executive Director of the Lung Association Megan Cordova. “During this time, it is more important than ever to support lung health, so on May 22, we are climbing to bring an end COVID-19, lung cancer and lung disease, and ensure healthy air for all.”

Money raised during the climb will go towards the Lung Association’s efforts to end lung cancer and lung disease and support its COVID-19 Action Initiative.

The Lung Association’s COVID-19 Action Initiative is a $25 million investment to protect against t future respiratory virus pandemics.

Registration for the climb is $35 and requires a minimum of $150 in fundraising.
