MILWAUKEE -- The excessive heat warning issued by the National Weather Service has been extended to Sunday, July 1, 2018 until 4 p.m.
Due to this extension, Summerfest will continue to offer the following services for their fans during festival operating hours on Sunday:
- Visitors may bring in full, factory-sealed and unopened water bottles
- Visitors may bring in one empty clear plastic water bottle
- Various misting stations will be available throughout the grounds
- Air-conditioned Milwaukee County Transit System bus will be on site
Aurora Health Care, Summerfest's exclusive health care provider, said guests should drink more water than usual if they're attending the Big Gig, and don't wait to feel thirsty to drink water. Wear loose, lightweight, light-colored clothing, and pace yourself - don't drink too much.
