Dry Tuesday morning but a wet afternoon on the way

After a cool weekend near the lake, the wind has shifted and we are back to near 80 in Milwaukee and near 90 inland. Tonight only has a few clouds with lows in the lower 60s. Tuesday starts out partly cloudy, warm and very humid with highs near 80 in Milwaukee to the mid 80s inland. Showers and t'storms roll in by afternoon along with gusty winds over 30 mph from the remnants of Tropical Storm Cristobal. T'storms become likely by evening and no severe weather is expected at this time but heavy rain is likely. One inch is likely across the area with isolated 2" amounts by Wednesday afternoon.

Despite rain showers on Wednesday, it is windy and less humid with highs in the mid 70s. SW winds will gust to over 30 mph. Thursday is sunny and windy with a high of 76 and a NW wind at 15-25 mph. Friday is sunny and beautiful with a high near 70, dry air and a NW wind at 10-15 mph. For the 3rd weekend in a row, it will be sunny and cooler. A NE breeze will keep Milwaukee and the lakefront in the 60s while inland areas will be in the 70s.
