Coldest night of the week, but it'll warm up starting Friday

We woke up to 13 in Milwaukee and in the single digits inland with wind chills as cold as -10. Despite a sunny day, today’s highs were in the teens to lower 20s with wind chills in the single digits. Under a mostly clear sky, tonight is the coldest of this cold snap with a low of 2 in Milwaukee to -6 inland. The wind won’t be strong, but it will drop wind chills to -20 inland and -10 in Milwaukee. Thursday afternoon is sunny once again with a light breeze, but we don’t get out of the teens.

We drop back into the single digits on Friday morning, but a SW wind at 15-20 mph begins the warming trend with highs in the low to mid 30s. You will have Spring Fever this weekend with sunshine and highs in the low to mid 40s. Clouds do increase Sunday afternoon with the next storm system bringing a wintry mix Sunday night into Monday. Monday is 38 with rain changing to snow in the evening, and Tuesday is snowy. Stay tuned.
