Warm, muggy conditions due to Tropical Depression Cristobal

and last updated 2020-06-09 23:44:08-04

Cristobal has arrived with scattered showers and downpours, humidity and gusty easterly winds to 45 mph this evening. There is a wind advisory for all of SE Wisconsin until midnight for those high gusts, and the rain should be out of here around midnight as well. Since the storm system is moving so quickly, the rain totals will be held to around a half inch with a few higher amounts. Lows tonight will remain in the upper 60s with the high humidity. We stay rain-free in the morning hours until the early afternoon, then showers redevelop for the late afternoon and evening with an addition 0.25" to 0.50" of rain. There is no severe weather threat for tomorrow. Before the rain, the high temp will get into the upper 70s.

Thursday is mostly sunny, less humid and windy with highs in the upper 70s. There is a very slight chance for a pop up light rain shower in the afternoon...otherwise it is a very nice day. Friday is sunny and pleasant with a high of 70. For the 3rd weekend in a row, the wind shifts to the NE keeping Milwaukee in the 60s Saturday and Sunday while inland areas enjoy the 70s. It will be a sunny weekend. In fact, we look to be funny and dry all of next week.
