Rain showers have moved into SE Wisconsin along with fog and chilly temps near the lakefront. This first round of rain moves out of the area by 6pm and then we get a break until after 9pm. That 2nd round id starting to fire up in SW Wisconsin and could become severe out there with hail and gusty winds. That risk extends into Jefferson and Walworth county as well. If there is any severe weather, it should weaken before reaching Milwaukee thanks to the chilly air. The rain should be out of here by midnight and then it is just isolated showers. The bigger issue tonight is the fog with lows in the mid 40s. Wednesday is foggy, windy and chilly with highs near 50 and a few morning showers. Widespread rain is likely by afternoon and with continue overnight and into Thursday morning. Most of the area will see at least 1” of rain with isolated areas near 2”. The rain, fog, wind and chilly temps make Wednesday a miserable day.
Thursday has scattered showers, especially near the lake. It remains windy with gusts to 30 mph and highs in the lower 50s in Milwaukee to near 60 inland. Friday is sunny and nice with a light breeze and highs near 60 in Milwaukee to 66 inland. Saturday is beautiful with highs near 70 and a light breeze. There is a slight chance for a pop shower…but most will not see a drop. There is also a chance for a spotty shower on Sunday, otherwise it is partly cloudy and nice with a high of 63. The weekend looks great.
