Windy and colder, tracking some snow

and last updated 2020-02-03 23:44:33-05

Record breaking 50s on Sunday and everyone had Spring Fever, but you knew it would change…it’s February. But at least the change was drastic. We got to enjoy another sunny day with highs in the 40s and a NE wind to 20 mph. Remember, the normal high is 30, and that has finally started to go up in the last week. The worst of winter is hopefully behind us and it has been easy so far. Clouds increased around sunset and we will stay mostly cloudy tonight. We will start Tuesday with some sunshine and lows in the upper 20s, but a NE wind to 25 mph will drop wind chills into the teens. Clouds increase on Tuesday and that brisk NE wind will keep us normal with highs near freezing.

Wednesday is mostly cloudy and dry, but snow returns in the evening and lingers into Thursday. Milwaukee will see about 2-3” of snow, areas north 1-2” and areas near the state line could see close to 4” by noon Thursday. High temps will be near 32 on Thursday and Friday with a few flurries on Friday. Saturday is sunny and 31, and we are tracking more snow and a wintry mix for Sunday…stay tuned.
