Slow moving storm system sticks around for Thursday

and last updated

Day 2 of late October weather in early September: rainfall was much less than on Tuesday, but light rain and drizzle was constant all day with temps stuck in the low to mid 50s.

The NE wind at 20 mph added to the chill. The drizzle and scattered showers continue this evening and overnight with lows in the low 50s in Milwaukee to mid 40s inland. There will also be patchy fog Wednesday night.

Meanwhile, northern WI is under a Frost Advisory tonight - at least we are not that cold. Unfortunately, this slow moving storm system sticks around for Thursday with more clouds, light rain and drizzle, especially before noon. The afternoon is cloudy and chilly with highs near 60.

Friday is finally nice with sunshine, a SE breeze, and highs in the upper 60s, still below normal but much nicer. We get back into the lower 70s on Saturday, but showers and t'storms are likely all day. This system moves out quickly and we enjoy sunshine on Sunday with a high of 72, and Monday is sunny and near 70.
