Walmart Is Hosting A Free Teacher Appreciation Event on July 13th

If you’re a teacher , you know how expensive it can be. In many cases, being an educator means spending money out of your own pocket for supplies for your classroom, including pens, paper, tissues and even books.

To show appreciation for all the teachers who go above and beyond for their students, Walmart is hosting a Teacher Appreciation Night on July 13.

While not all Walmart stores are participating, many are, so be sure to find one near you . Teachers can head these locations from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on July 13 for free cake, ice cream and beverages. There will also be a fun photo booth, and the first 300 teachers at each store location will get a swag bag filled with freebies from Crayola, 3M, Bic, Fiskars and more!

You may need to bring your teacher ID or show your school email address to participate, so make sure you have proof that you are indeed a teacher.
