CHICAGO — The Chicago Cubs announced Thursday that they will be giving away UW-Madison hats at one of their April games, and Wisconsinites are confused.
We all know UW-Madison is located in Wisconsin (it's even in the name), so can someone tell us why they're being promoted at a Chicago Cubs game?
The Cubs announced the offer on Twitter. Fans can get a ticket to the Padres-Cubs game on April 21 as well as a "special-edition Cubs and University of Wisconsin-Madison cap."
Bring your Badger pride April 21 and receive a special-edition Cubs + UW Madison cap.

The best part, though, are the replies. Many Wisconsinites are joining the conversation, and they seem a bit... perplexed.

This would be a lot less confusing if Illinois didn't have a Big 10 school, but they do. In fact, they have two (Northwestern and University of Illinois).
