WAUWATOSA — Justin Steinike is a basketball star at Wauwatosa West who enjoys solving equations as much as a fast break.
A senior for the Trojans, Steinike is soaking in every last bucket of his high school career.
"I get so much adrenaline before the game and then I'm able to go out there and play with my guys, my best friends," says Steinike. "It's just the ultimate team sport."
Justin is a numbers guy, on and off the court.
"I really enjoy my statistics class right now," he says.
With a 3.9 grade point average, Justin hopes numbers can help him enjoy another sport.
"I always really enjoyed playing football but I had to stop in 7th grade because I kept getting hurt and it stopped being enjoyable," Steinike says. "Maybe something I could do is use analytics to make the game safer."
