Friday afternoon the Union Grove community hosted a special pep rally for Packers super fan Frank Lamping.
It's safe to say Lamping has the whole community behind him - lots of people showed up to chant 'go Frank go!'
It’s a final push to put Lamping in the Packers Fan Hall of Fame. Long lines were hanging out of Community State Bank, and Lamping greeted everyone who came to support him.
"He's a true Packers fan, I can't tell you that this will be a dream come true for him," said Peggy Czerniak, Lamping’s older sister.
Lamping isn't ashamed to let everyone know that he wants to win.
"I hate to be greedy but I want to win this. This is so important to me to be in the Hall of Fame," he said.
He's doing all of this while he's battling stage four prostate cancer, but you wouldn't know that because keeps a smile on his face.
"I don't think there's anybody else more deserving this year than Frank Lamping, the Packers should be proud to have a fan that represents them like he does; it's just unbelievable, unbelievable," said Bill Klug, a friend of Lamping’s since high school.
With all of the support, he has a good chance to make it.
"I really want to get in there, I want my name in Lambeau Field, it's just an unbelievable dream of mine," said Lamping.
Voting is still going on until January 31st, the Packers plan to announce the winner in late February. If you would like to vote, you can do so here.
