GREEN BAY — Seven Green Bay Packers players have made the NFC Pro Bowl roster, including Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams.

The Pro Bowl roster was announced Monday, however, the exact future of the Pro Bowl is still uncertain.

The game was originally scheduled for Jan. 31, 2021 but due to the pandemic, that had to be canceled.

Now, the NFL is working with EA sports to create a week-long series of matchups featuring celebrities, NFL Legends, current players and streamers playing the official Pro Bowl rosters on Madden NFL 21.

What is sure though, is we will see seven Packers involved in the event. First off, there's Aaron Rodgers as the starting NFC quarterback.

Davante Adams will also start at wide receiver along with teammates tackle David Bakhtiari, guard Elgton Jenkins, linebacker Za'Darius Smith, and cornerback Jaire Alexander.

Adams selection into the pro-bowl makes him the second Packers WR to make four-plus consecutive Pro Bowls. Alexander's selection is his first, and makes him the second Packers cornerback to be selected since 2014.

This is the third time Bakhtiari has been selected for the Pro Bowl, and the second time in a row.

Aaron Jones is also listed as a running back on the roster, but the starter will be Dalvin Cook of the Minnesota Vikings. This will be Jones' first Pro Bowl appearance, and he is one of only three Packers' running backs selected since 2000.

Finally, this is Rodgers ninth selection of his career (2009, 2011-12, 2014-16, 2018-20), tying Brett Favre and T Forrest Gregg for the most Pro Bowl selections by a Packer.

The Packers, along with other NFC players, will take on AFC starters like Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, Stefon Diggs, and T.J. Watt.
