GREEN BAY — Former Green Bay Packers linebackers coach Kevin Greene has died at the age of 58, according to a report from NFL.com.

Before Greene started coaching, he played for the Los Angeles Rams, the Carolina Panthers, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the San Francisco 49ers.

His 160 career sacks made him "one of the most prolific pass rushers to ever grace the gridiron," NFL.com says.

Greene was elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016 and took part in the Pro Bowl in 1989, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1998. He attended Auburn University.
